Job Description:

DIMO is offering an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Officer Volunteer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Human Resources department, gaining hands-on experience in various HR functions while contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees and volunteers, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
• Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee and volunteer records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce and volunteers.
• Contribute to organizing and facilitating workshops aimed at building strong relationships among our volunteers, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
• Aid in the performance management process, including assisting with evaluations and providing constructive feedback to employees and volunteers.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Code of Conduct (COC) regulations through verification procedures.
• Attend HR meetings and other relevant gatherings to gain insights into industry trends and organizational developments.

Job Specifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Tools is preferred, with a willingness to learn and utilize these platforms for various HR tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting effectively with employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Interest in HR practices and a desire to gain practical experience in the field.
